The first fight of the night would be the Intercontinental Championship match, as Maryse and Miz would be the first to come out, Maryse would show off her new ring gear as they headed down to the ring to get ready for the match. Miz would try everything to get Dean Disqualified even having Maryse distract the referee while he tried to hit Dean with a chair but that didn’t go right for him as they got back into the ring and began to fight again. Maryse would later climb up on the ring trying to distract the referee again only to almost be knocked into by not Dean, but also by her husband as the referee and checked on Dean Miz asked Maryse to slap him to get a “outside ring interference” call to get Dean disqualified but that also didn’t work when the referee would throw Maryse out of ringside only for her to throw a fit but still coming back down to the ring to fight with him only causing Miz to throw Dean into the referee almost making get a disqualification when Miz would hit Dean with a Skull Crushing Finale and pinning Dean making Miz the 7th time Intercontinental Champion, Maryse would come back from backstage and celebrate with her husband.
